This is Swedish Massage's first blog entry.

The subject of this first entry is the use of telephones in massage studios.

It is noticeable that some massage professionals take their mobile phones into the treatment room with them. This is bad practice on numerous levels. Firstly, calls and texts come in and disturb the peace and atmosphere. Secondly, the customer doesn't know what you were doing with your telephone, and they may have concerns about being photographed without their permission (and even if this concern is unfounded, it's still a valid concern for the customer). Thirdly, mobile phones omit electromagnetic frequencies (EMFs) which not only adversely affect relaxation, but they are also bad for health in general.

In an ideal scenario, no telephones would be in the studio treatment room. They are better off left outside and switched off.
