The salon offers a wide range of services across two main areas:

Hairdressing: expert cutting, bespoke colouring (full and half-head highlights, balayage, lowlights), special occasion hair, hair extensions, and styling.
Beauty & Spa: facials (notably the Guinot Hydradermie treatment — described as "the Rolls Royce of facials"), lash and brow treatments, spray tanning, manicures, back/neck/shoulder massages, and waxing.

Charlie Taylor opened her first salon at 20–28 South Methven Street, Perth in September 1987, at the age of 26. Before that, she had worked alongside Trevor Sorbie in London. A second salon followed in Dundee in 1999. By 2017 she was celebrating her 30th year in business, and the group has since expanded to include a presence in St Andrews.

The Perth location is the flagship and one of the busiest salons in Scotland. The ground floor houses the main hair salon space, a blow-dry station, a makeup and nail bar, and reception. The upper floor contains three beauty treatment rooms and a spray tanning room. Despite its busy nature, the atmosphere is described as tranquil and relaxed — a deliberate refuge from the bustle of the city centre. Clients are typically greeted with a coffee and biscuit on arrival.
