Lighthouse Therapies

Lighthouse Therapies, a holistic therapy practice run by Helen Angus, based at Main Street, Methven, Perth (PH1 3PT), Scotland. Helen specialises in Bowen Technique and Reiki, offering gentle, non-invasive treatment for musculoskeletal issues (back pain, scoliosis, posture), hormonal issues, stress, anxiety, and other physical, mental, and emotional concerns.

Helen has practised Reiki since 2000 and describes having developed her own intuitive Reiki technique over the years. Reiki involves the practitioner channeling energy to support the body's own healing at a physical, emotional, and spiritual level. Helen often combines Bowen and Reiki in a single session for a deeper healing and relaxing experience. A spiritual approach to her sessions can bring profound results. Helen tailors her approach to each individual client.

Appointments are by arrangement only, typically £45 for an hour, with a £25 half-hour taster session available.

Angela's path into the profession is somewhat unusual: she changed career in her early 30s, practised Reiki and Reflexology from 2000/2003, qualified in an HNC in Complementary Therapies in 2005, and trained in clinical hypnosis in 2012. She only discovered Bowen Therapy later, after struggling with persistent musculoskeletal issues of her own that wouldn't resolve on their own. She qualified as a Bowen practitioner in 2018/2019 and set up Lighthouse Therapies around that time. She's a registered member of The Bowen Association UK and listed on the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) register, where she also offers aromatherapy massage, body massage, and reflexology alongside Bowen.
